
Pieter Cornelius Mondrian, “Piet” for short, was a Dutch painter very interested in creating still life paintings that depicted simple flowers using bright, distinctive colors. Lifelong Learners created January carnations in a similar style to Mondrian.

Silhouettes are the image of a person, an object, or scene represented as a solid dark shape on a lighter background. They were most popular in the mid-18th century, but still have a significant place in art today. Lifelong Learners enjoyed a silhouette session with the birds!

Bears to Share is a charitable effort of providing teddy bears to our community’s fire, police and emergency personnel for use during their responses to tough situations and emergencies.
