Dog Days of Summer
The Dog Days of summer are traditionally the hottest 40 days of the year. Our ancient ancestors blamed Sirius, the Dog Star. Lifelong Learners discovered and created patterns including many stars, which formed the constellations shown in this picture.
Toothbrush Technique
Team Elliott Education’s Lifelong Learners created this multimedia piece in the POP art style made famous by Andy Warhol. Using the “toothbrush technique” for the unique background, Lifelong Learners implemented Andy Warhol’s challenge of finding possibilities among the ordinary by using multiple, brightly colored flowers.

Beacon College graduate, Michelle Shatlock, integrates her experiences, personal achievements and incredible positive spirit, as she works to discover interests and encourage conversations during meaningful one-to-one sessions as a fulltime Serenades’ team member. Sharing her insights and abilities, Michelle also contributes to Team Elliott Education as an Educational Support Specialist.
