Georgia O’Keeffe created art on very large canvases and focused on painting enlarged flower blossoms. Residents created their own version of O’Keeffe’s fall leaves.

Gobble Gobble

Every year, the President of the United States will “pardon” a turkey, which spares the bird’s life and ensures that it will spend the duration of its life roaming freely at Frying Pan Park in Virginia!

“Fall Flowers and Pumpkins”

A watercolor piece created by Judy, Jackie and Mary Patricia with the guidance of Creative Design Specialist, Marnita. Using a pencil to sketch the still life, shadowing, adding color and layering colors with paint were all techniques used in producing these masterpieces. Serenades’ residents are clearly artists extraordinaire!
