Creative Design: Floriography

Floriography has been used since mid eighteenth century, and is known as the language of flowers. There are different symbolic meanings associated with different flowers, and we learned about some of these during this project. For example, pink roses are symbolic for grace, joy and gratitude.

Team Elliott Creative Design specialists and participants created roses using a unique technique and applied dozens of them to a large canvas as we discussed Floriography and symbolic meanings behind giving flowers.
