Leavin’ the Summer, Feelin’ the Fall
Georgia O’Keeffe created art on very large canvases and focused on painting enlarged flower blossoms. Residents created their own version of O’Keeffe’s fall leaves.

Send-a-Notes are created by Serenades’ residents to perk up someone’s day. Our first delivery went to the children’s hospital. Our next delivery will be to the Veteran’s Hospital just in time for Veteran’s Day, Monday November 12th.
“Fall Flowers and Pumpkins”
A watercolor piece created by Judy, Jackie and Mary Patricia with the guidance of Creative Design Specialist, Marnita. Using a pencil to sketch the still life, shadowing, adding color and layering colors with paint were all techniques used in producing these masterpieces. Serenades’ residents are clearly artists extraordinaire!
“La, La, La, La, . . . La”
Songbirds is a delightful, choral experience of familiar songs just for the pleasure of sharing music. Some groups enjoy performing for their communities while others just enjoy singing.
