Flamingos are very social birds that live in flocks or colonies that can number in the thousands. They find safety in numbers, which helps to protect individual birds from predators while feeding. Shrimp-like crustaceans are responsible for the flamingo’s pink color. Flamingo Island is a creative interpretation of the flamingos’ ritual of dancing before breeding.
Residents’ brilliance shows up everywhere. It is exciting to offer opportunities which encourage those moments and thrilling to observe the empowerment experienced by participants.
